Needs From: Tioga County Volunteers

Some activities require heavy lifting. Stacks of chairs will need to be moved (on a wheeled carrier). Folding tables will be carried from the garage to the Gmeiner and set up.
Some activities do not involve lifting: Tables can be wiped. Wooden signs will be set on the tables. Paper signs will be hung up.

Assist with organizing books, helping customers to find books, creating ”hold” pile of books for customers as they shop.

During this event, you may be participating in any of the following activities based on preference: filling small to medium sized boxes with books, transporting boxes from the Gmeiner to trucks just outside the Gmeiner or loading/unloading boxes of books from the back of pick-up trucks. 

The expected duration of this event is 3 hours. We appreciate any amount of time you are able to be there!

Participants are encouraged to take books home as a thank you for participating.

We are looking for people who are willing to transport unsold books to Good Will. Access to a truck and a driver’s license are necessary
