Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Tioga County

Who We Are

Keystone Advocacy Initiative, a Program of PA CASA is committed to building a strong, sustainable program that supports children and families while serving as a dependable partner within the local child welfare system.

What We Do

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are specially trained community volunteers appointed by a judge to advocate for a child’s best interests throughout their involvement in the child welfare system. Once trained and appointed, CASA's are assigned a specific child and will meet with the child, gather information from associated parties, and provide recommendations to the court on behalf of the child.
