The American Red Cross is seeking passionate and proactive individuals to join our Volunteer Services Team. In this role, you will play a key part in recruiting skilled, talented, and diverse volunteers to support our mission, and have the opportunity to explore deployable volunteer roles during disaster events.
Support Volunteer Recruitment
- Research and coordinate community outreach events, fairs, and speaking opportunities. Represent the Red Cross and inspire others to serve.
- Host or support recruitment events both open to the public and with partners.
- Distribute flyers and brochures across the community.
- Publish volunteer listings on online platforms like Idealist, and social media.
Disaster Response Opportunity
- Gain exposure to Red Cross disaster operations.
- Explore potential deployment opportunities to assist communities impacted by disasters.
- Receive training for disaster event readiness as part of your volunteer journey (optional but encouraged)Volunteer.
